Before you press play
Do I need to pay or sign up to play?
No. Song Guesser is completely free and you can play without creating an account. Pick a theme and your first round starts right away.
How much time do I get for each song?
10 seconds. The clip starts and the countdown starts with it. The sooner you pick the right title, the more points you earn: 100 if you answer at once, none if time runs out.
What can I play: artists, genres, decades?
All three. Search or tap an artist, a genre or a decade and all 10 songs of your round come from that pick. Each card opens its own page, where you start the game.
How long does a round last?
A round is 10 songs with 10 seconds at most per song, so it takes about two minutes. You set the pace: answer fast to score high.
Can I challenge my friends?
Yes. Create a room in our multiplayer mode, share the code and see who recognizes the songs first, in real time.
Will I hear the same songs if I replay?
Each round draws 10 songs from the artist, genre or decade you picked. Play it again and the selection can change, so you do not always hear the same songs.
